Lubarol

In the heart of Copenhagen, in a small townhouse on Gothersgade, Lubarol opened its doors in 2005 – founded by Christiane Branner Wilton and Louise Marie Christensen. Here, a specially curated universe took shape, with a focus on quality, aesthetics and hand-picked design – from clothing and accessories to jewelry, fragrances and home decor – all gathered in a personal and inspiring atmosphere.

At Lubarol you will find, among other things, handmade French ceramics from Astier de Villatte , mouth-blown glass from Akua Objects , fine jewelry from Sophie Bille Brahe , beautiful Japanese stockings from Antipast , delicate underwear from Italian Oscalito , hand-woven baskets and a selection of selected shoes, bags and accessories from carefully selected brands such as Proenza Schouler and Muuñ. The range also includes timeless clothing from Danish AF Agger, surprising collections in, among others, sheepskin from English Cawley, as well as a special selection of curated fragrances, soaps and beauty products from, among others, Maison Louis Marie, Racyne and MELYON.

We have a passion for collaborating with smaller, often family-owned brands – both new, emerging designers and older, traditional houses. What they all have in common is a dedicated focus on quality, authenticity and fine craftsmanship.

The same year the store opened, Lubarol's own brand Ficus Folium was launched – a collection of timeless clothing in natural materials such as cashmere, wool, silk and cotton. The collection is created with respect for craftsmanship and classic silhouettes and is a natural extension of the store's universe.

In 2023, Lubarol moved to new, larger premises at Gothersgade 28. The new store premises continue the spirit of the original location and create even more space for peace, presence and personal service - both in the store and on the webshop, where the selection is continuously updated.
