For over four generations, DAIYO from Shiga Prefecture in Japan has created handmade candles with a deep respect for nature and tradition. Each candle is carefully shaped by hand by masters who carry on a rare art - today there are only about ten masters in all of Japan who master this craft.

DAIYO candles are made from 100% natural sumac wax (HAZE), without the use of synthetic materials. This unique wax provides a calm, clear flame and a clean burn without soot.
