The fragrance is a reinterpretation by Dominique Ropion based on an incredible 1348 recipe, rich in fragrant ingredients meant to protect against the Black Death and evil forces. Its intensely fragrant composition immediately transports us to another world.

Delicious notes of spices and aromatic ingredients unfold, including warm, amber-like and resinous scent – a wild bush from the dry Spanish scrublands; Damascus rose, the sweetest, most opulent and honey-scented of all roses; intoxicating and captivating wild myrrh; resin with its warm, musky trail of leather tones and frankincense.
