The shirt is inspired by 1960s functional clothing, evident in the round collar and the external pockets placed lower on the front. The design hovers between a shirt and a jacket and is intended as a versatile layer in the wardrobe.

The Sophie Shirt is often worn open as a light jacket, with a thin knit, T-shirt, or top underneath. The shirt can also be fully buttoned and function as a shirt. It is often sold as a set with matching trousers and naturally fits into both everyday and seasonal looks.

This version of the Sophie Shirt is made of cotton. The shirt can be worn open with a T-shirt underneath for everyday wear, or buttoned and styled with May trousers for a festive set. This Sophie Shirt has long sleeves, a rounded collar design, and button closure on the front. It is made with two open pockets on the front.
